We Want to Hear From You!
We are now accepting nominations for our annual awards and we are so excited for this opportunity to highlight deserving members of our Triangle East communities!
We want to hear from YOU - when you think about your friends, neighbors, co-workers, leaders, teachers, or other people in your life, who stands out as someone who is working hard to make a positive difference in our region?
Our Citizen of the Year should be a person who has made a significant impact on our region (Archer’s Lodge, Cleveland Community, Kenly, Micro, Princeton, Selma, Smithfield, Wilson’s Mills, and surrounding areas) over the course of 2019. Let us know who has contributed outstanding service to Triangle East!
This year, we are presenting SIX Distinguished Citizen of the Year Awards! Each of the communities who were a part of the Triangle East Chamber in 2019 will honor one of their citizens. If you know someone who has given of their talent, time, and resources to serve the towns of Kenly, Princeton, Micro, Selma, Smithfield, or Wilson’s Mills over the course of many years, please tell us all about what they’ve contributed to their town!
Has a business in the Triangle East region impressed you with their integrity and great practices? Let us know how they made an impact on you or the community by nominating them for the Jimmy Creech Small Business Person of the Year Award! They must be a member of the Triangle East Chamber of Commerce. You can check our directory for their business name to make sure they are eligible!
The nomination deadline is January 17th, so get those forms in soon! The awards will be presented on February 21st at our 50th Annual Meeting. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
