• February Teacher of the Month serves many roles at Princeton High School

    SMITHFIELD - The Greater Smithfield-Selma Area Chamber of Commerce has honored Princeton High School Teacher Christy Klein as February's Teacher of the Month. Ms. Klein serves as an Exception Children's teacher at the school. This year, she is serving as the School Improvement Chair and is also serving as the Lead EC teacher.

    "Ms. Klein is always will to perform any job that is needed at Princeton and always performs her task in a very positive manor," according to School Principal Kirk Denning. "She is a great example for all teachers to follow."

    Ms. Klein is a National Board certified teacher and also has a Master of Education degree. She was selected for the award by her fellow teachers at the school.

    The Chamber's Teacher of the Month Award is sponsored by the Super 8 Hotel and Triangle Insurance & Benefits.
