MY KID'S CLUB THANKFUL THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!November 18, 2019In this season of thanksgiving and fellowship, My Kid's Club (MIC) is so grateful for the generous community that supports us every day. Many corporations, non-profit partners and small businesses share our continuous commitment to support struggling children and families in Johnston County.
On October 5, over 200 hundred community members came out to support the MIC Railroad Days 5K Run & Walk and — with more than 33 event sponsors -- raised over $20,000, which goes right back into Club programs. We reserve a special thank you to our four presenting sponsors, Novo Nordisk, Duke Energy, Fluor and Clayton Endoscopy, for their leadership and patronage. Their endorsement of the MIC 5K was vital to the event's success.
We also thank the army of volunteers that gave their time and energy to make the 5K operate smoothly, especially the Junior Women's League and JCC. Without their support and our other volunteers, we would not be able to coordinate this fun, family event each year.
We are always looking for volunteers to work with MIC throughout the year. We have many ways to get involved, from one-on-one student tutoring to chaperoning field trips. If interested, please contact Alison Gammage, Executive Director, at email@example.com.
About our newest sponsor, Clayton Endoscopy:
Clayton Endoscopy Center is a new partner for MIC and the first and only AAI-IV certified outpatient center fully staffed with board certified gastroenterologists in Johnston County. Partner RMG Gastroenterology of Clayton and Smithfield is an excellent local provider of comprehensive care for gastrointestinal and liver disease.
