Community and Senior Services Receives Atlantic Coast Pipeline GrantDecember 11, 2018
Atlantic Coast Pipeline has awarded a $3,500 grant to Community and Senior Services of Johnston County (CSS). These funds are designated to enable Johnston County Area Transit System (JCATS) to provide additional medical transportation. JCATS is operated by CSS.
CSS Executive Director Neal Davis commented, "We are thrilled to receive this much-needed funding support. This will enable JCATS to provide more rides for life-sustaining medical appointments!" CSS Board Chairman Jimmy Parker accepted the check and noted, "Corporate partnerships are important to us and we appreciate the confidence that Atlantic Coast Pipeline places in us."
Atlantic Coast Pipeline Community Liaison Vince Wyche added, "Atlantic Coast Pipeline is proud to be a community partner in Johnston County. JCATS provides a valuable service and we are pleased to assist them with their excellent transportation service."
The Atlantic Coast Pipeline is a critical infrastructure project that is currently under construction. The pipeline will be an energy provider, job creator and economic game changer for West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina.
