Rose House is Chamber's top Ambassador and a committed volunteerMay 17, 2013
Although this person has only been an “official” Ambassador for a couple of years, she has been an active volunteer for many more. Recently, the Chamber gave its Ambassador of the Year Award to Rose House of Four Oaks Bank.
Rose is lifelong resident of Johnston County and has been with Four Oaks Bank since 1991. She is currently in the role of Assistant Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer.
As a Chamber Ambassador, Rose made personal visits to new Chamber members as part of a new orientation effort. She also continued to make her regular member visits, attend ribbon cuttings and business after hours, and participated on our President’s Surprise Patrol.
In addition to her role on our Member Services Committee, Rose participates on our Beautification Committee, which is committed to cleaning up the entranceways into Smithfield and Selma, and helped on our new Golden Swing Task Force.
Rose participates on the Family Selection Committee for Habitat for Humanity, is a fill-in Sunday school teacher at the Flea Market on Highway 301, and team leader at First Baptist Church of Smithfield. Rose is the proud mother of two boys, Chris and Brian, and grandmother of four.
The Chamber and our community are fortunate to have such a committed volunteer. Rose, please come forward to receive this year’s Ambassador of the Year Award.
