Smithfield’s Independence Celebration Set for June 30June 28, 2019The Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation and Smithfield Parks & Recreation will host Smithfield’s Independence Celebration on Sunday, June 30 in the 100 block of S. Third Street in Downtown Smithfield.
The celebration will kick off at 6:00 p.m. with live music from the Carolina Soul Band, water wars, food trucks, and games and activities for all ages. Participating food trucks include: 815 Gourmet Grill, All-American Food Truck, Fully Loaded Fritters, Kona Ice of Johnston County, Kono Pizza, LuGia’s Ice Cream on Wheels, and Tacos Costa Grande. The celebration will conclude with a spectacular display at 9:00 p.m.
