A Message From Our Board Chair
Johnston County has been home for my family and me for more than two decades. Originally from Raleigh, I met my wife in 1997, and in the early 2000s we made the decision to settle in Johnston County—what we now proudly call our forever home. Over the past 26 years, I have witnessed firsthand the remarkable growth and transformation of this community.
Today, Johnston County stands as one of the fastest-growing counties in North Carolina. With that growth comes both opportunity and responsibility. The Triangle East Chamber of Commerce plays a vital role in shaping the future of our region—not by promoting growth for growth’s sake, but by helping ensure that progress is thoughtful, balanced, and sustainable.
The Chamber serves as a unifying force across our communities, championing economic vitality while honoring the unique character of each town and business it represents. As our county continues to evolve, our mission remains clear: to lead with purpose, collaborate across sectors, and help our businesses and communities thrive together.
Service is a value my family and I hold deeply. I believe it is not only a privilege, but also a responsibility. With the dedicated board members, volunteers, staff, and partners who have stepped forward to serve, I am confident that the Triangle East Chamber is well-positioned to navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead.
