Welcome to the Triangle East Economic Development Foundation. The foundation is a 501c3 Non-profit established to promote the Economic well-being of the Triangle East Region of North Carolina. Through the foundation, we can raise funding to help promote programs and projects that develop the Triangle East Region of North Carolina into a nationally competitive, economically diverse, relevant, and collaborative community.
The Triangle East Economic Development Foundation was organized in 2011 exclusively for Charitable, Educational, and Economic Development fundraising to support Chamber and Community programs.
Today, programs like Leadership Johnston, Flame for Learning, JOCO WORKS, and Uptown Selma Business Partnership are supported through the foundation.
The Foundation is also the owner and caretaker of the Historic Yelvington-Lee House located at 1115 Outlet Center Drive in Smithfield, NC. The Yelvington-Lee House is home to the Triangle East Chamber of Commerce and the Johnston County Arts Council, as well as serving as a Visitor Welcome Center for the Triangle East Communities and Johnston County, NC.
